Movement therapy
Movement therapy integrates elements from Pilates, yoga, physiotherapy rehabilitation, and energy activation exercises. It combines physical techniques for improving stability, strength and flexibility with movements designed to release stored tension and stress, encouraging better energy flow and therefore improving overall health, fitness and sports performance.

More on Movement Therapy.
Movement therapy combines my knowledge of physical movement with a blend of stability-focused Pilates exercises, yoga asanas style stretching and mobility, physiotherapy rehabilitation techniques, and energy activation exercises. Drawing from my personal experience and years of teaching these practices, I use movement therapy to help improve physical strength and flexibility while also stimulating healing by releasing energetic blockages held within the body.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a method of exercise that focuses on building core strength, improving posture, and enhancing overall stability and flexibility. Through controlled, precise movements and a focus on breath, Pilates creates a strong mind-body connection. It is particularly effective for developing functional strength and balance, which makes it a foundational element in movement therapy.

What is Yoga?
Yoga is a holistic practice that combines physical postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), and mindfulness to promote flexibility, strength, and inner calm. With its origins steeped in ancient spiritual traditions, yoga offers not only physical benefits but also a path to self-awareness, balance, and connection to a higher sense of being. It encourages a deep integration of mind, body, and spirit, facilitating stress relief and emotional harmony. In movement therapy, yoga-inspired stretches and flows improve mobility, release tension, and support overall well-being, honoring not just its physical, but also its holistic dimensions.
What are Physiotherapy Exercises?
Physiotherapy exercises are targeted movements designed to rehabilitate injuries, restore functional movement, and prevent future issues. They focus on strengthening weak muscles, improving joint mobility, and correcting imbalances. By incorporating physiotherapy techniques into movement therapy, I tailor exercises to meet each person’s specific physical needs and goals.

What are Energy Activation Exercises?
Energy activation exercises are movements and techniques that aim to release stored tension, enhance energy flow, and revitalize the body and mind. These exercises combine dynamic movements, breathwork, and mindful awareness to clear energetic blockages and restore balance. In movement therapy, they play a key role in promoting vitality and overall harmony within the body.
